Before the pipeline is purged, orifice plates, flange-connected regulating valves, main valves, throttle valves, safety valves, instruments, etc. should not be installed. For the above-mentioned valves and instruments connected by welding, the bypass should be used or the seal should be removed. Protective measures such as pieces. The order of purging should be carried out in the order of main pipe, branch pipe, and drain pipe. The blown out dirt must not enter the pipe that has been purged.
The dirt discharged by purging shall not pollute the environment, and random discharge is strictly prohibited.
A restricted area should be set before purging.
After the pipeline has been purged qualified, other operations that affect the cleaning shall not be carried out.
1. After the strength test of the piping system, before the air pressure tightness test, purge and clean should be carried out in sections
2. The method of purging should be determined according to the requirements for the use of the pipeline, the working medium and the degree of stolen goods on the inner surface of the pipeline. Liquid or gas pipelines with a nominal diameter greater than or equal to 600mm should be manually cleaned. Liquid pipelines with a nominal diameter less than 600mm should be cleaned manually. Use water to clean the gas pipeline with a nominal diameter of less than 600mm, which should be purged with air. Steam pipes should be purged with steam, and non-thermal pipes should not be purged with steam. The purge is generally carried out in sequence according to the main pipe, branch pipe, and drain pipe.
3. Before the pipeline is purged, a detailed purging plan should be prepared and carried out in sections according to the system
4. The equipment and pipes that are not allowed to be purged are separated from the purging system.
5. After the pipeline is qualified for purging, in addition to the prescribed inspection and restoration work, no other work affecting the cleaning of the pipeline shall be carried out, and the "Pipeline System Purging Record" shall be filled in
